How to send your prescription

When you choose prescription lenses, the lens chooser asks how you'd like to give us your prescription. Pick whichever is easiest.

1. Enter it now

Copy the SPH, CYL, AXIS and ADD values for each eye from your prescription, plus your pupillary distance (PD). How to measure your PD.

2. Upload a photo or scan

Take a clear photo of your whole prescription (or use the PDF from your optometrist) and upload it in the chooser.

3. Share your optometrist's details

Give us your optometrist's name, phone number and suburb, and we'll contact them for your prescription.

4. Send it after you order

Choose "Send later", place your order, then email a photo or scan of your prescription with your order number to admin@lensesdirect.com.au.

We start making your lenses once we have your prescription, so the sooner it arrives, the sooner your glasses ship. Delivery for prescription glasses is usually 5–10 working days.

What happens next

Every order is reviewed by an optometrist or a trained optical dispenser.
